Katja worked in various development projects in Africa. “That opened my eyes for global issues and controversies. Now as a filmmaker I am on a quest to discover exploitation, injustice, environmental degradation and human rights violations, with the aim to send a picture of resistance and hope into the world.”.

Jeremiah joined the team by combining environmental science and film during his studies. “Understanding the major sustainability problems of our time is no easy task. But they affect us all, and that’s why I’m looking for ways to help as many people as possible understand the changes taking place on our planet. Films direct my attention to sobering truths as well as to sparks of hope.

Jonathan specialised himself as a researcher and journalist on the development of East Africa and travelled that region uncounted times. “Curiosity keeps me busy in many ways. Climbing down a pit or driving through the desert, always accompanied by my camera.  It never bothered me, having spent hours needed in the depth of the world wide web or in the heat of Africa…”

Jean-Jacques mainly workes behind the scenes and keeps himself busy with citizen journalist concepts and the ethics of reporting for a sustainable work with media. “Too much time at home makes me nervous.”
